St. Luke’s Health Network Liability Insurance Program

CME Courses Sponsored by St. Luke’s Health Network Insurance Company, a Reciprocal Risk Retention Group (SLHNIC) – Voluntary CME – Professional Liability Insurance

SLHNIC offers the referenced CME courses to all physicians and mid-levels insured in SLHNIC’s “employed claims-made” medical professional liability insurance program. As a general rule, Attendings, Faculty, Residents, Fellows and Mid-level providers employed by a Network entity are insured by SLHNIC for medical professional liability coverage. SLHNIC has arranged for physicians & mid-level providers insured by SLHNIC to have access to on-demand, web-based CME provided by the ELM Exchange Risk and Safety Institute. This resource may be used to satisfy patient safety related CME requirements and to participate in medical liability related continuing education.

The following URL provides an overview and summaryof the ELM CME process:

  • Progress is tracked via the Web; certificates of CME completion are available to registered providers via the Web, on demand.
  • CME credits available through this program count toward Pennsylvania-specific patient safety/risk management CME for licensure maintenance purposes.
