Family Practitioner Dr. John Bosi Joins St. Luke’s

Family physician John Bosi, DO, has joined St. Luke’s University Health Network as of June 1. His practice remains at its current location in Nesquehoning and is now named St. Luke’s Anthracite Primary Care.

“I am very excited about this change and the opportunities it brings to all of us to provide you with the highest quality health care close to where you work and live,” Dr. Bosi says. “Joining St. Luke’s ensures we will continue to provide care to patients for many years to come.”

As part of St. Luke’s, patients also have access to many other important and needed services throughout St. Luke’s University Health Network including obstetrics and gynecology, emergency care, heart and vascular services, home health and hospice, neuroscience, cancer care, orthopedics, sports medicine, physical therapy and weight loss.

Kelly Machalik, Regional Manager, St. Luke’s Physician Group, is excited that a physician as well-known to the community as Dr. Bosi is joining the St. Luke’s family. Machalik, who is from the Panther Valley area, says, “I’m happy that patients in the community will continue to be able to receive care from Dr. Bosi, now as part of St. Luke’s. Dr. Bosi’s entire practice and all of St. Luke’s is 100 percent committed to patients and their families.”
